Hawley House (c.1878) offers guests quintessential Northern Tasmanian hospitality, hosting wedding receptions, intimate conferences and overnight guests, in a unique and spectacular seaside setting, at Hawley Beach via Port Sorell, a short drive East of Devonport. Hawley is the original homestead of the 150 hectare Rubicon Estate, which has been the Houghton family's home for three generations. Hawley unashamedly embraces the patina created by her 130 year history, and the idiosyncrasies that come with being first and foremost a family home, not least of which is her unique rooftop bath.
Guests are accommodated in a range of spacious and individually appointed rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms and breathtaking views, eclectic original artworks and furnishings. Homegrown produce is featured in the daily dining experiences, accompanied by estate-grown wines or a selection from our extensive wine cellar.
